The human brain evolved to perceive a macroscopic world made up of 3-dimensional space overlaid by the flow of time, because that was what it took to survive in the plains of Africa millions of years ago. There is no reason to expect that the human brain to have evolved the ability to fully comprehend the underlying true nature of reality and existence; questions that still confound the greatest scientific minds today. We may be as far from being able to fully understand reality as a chimpanzee is from being able to grasp quantum physics.
For this very reason, I'm an atheist towards all the gods that have ever been conjured up by the human brain, and can confidently dismiss all their baseless claims to absolute knowledge of reality.
